Privacy Policy

SideGigArt (sidegigart.io) is a set of free calculators. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the site.

No accounts, no database

There is no sign-up, no login and no user database. We do not ask for your name, email address or payment details in order to use any calculator.

The numbers you enter

Every calculation happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. The figures you type — income, rates, expenses, savings — are never transmitted to our servers, are not logged, and are discarded when you close or reload the page. Some tools keep entries in memory for the duration of your visit (for example a running total); that data lives only in the open tab.

Contact

If you email us at hi@sidegigart.io, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we keep it only as long as needed to answer you. The contact form does not submit anything to us; it simply opens a draft in your own email application.

Hosting and server logs

Our hosting provider may record standard technical request data such as IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp and requested URL for security and reliability purposes. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individuals.

Advertising and cookies

The site currently sets no advertising or analytics cookies. We intend to display advertising to fund hosting. When ads go live, a third-party ad network (for example Google AdSense) may set cookies or use similar technologies on your device to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. At that point this policy will be updated to name the network, and — where required by law — a consent banner will let you accept or refuse non-essential cookies before they are set. You can also control ad personalisation in your Google account settings and block cookies in your browser.

Children

The site is intended for adults running or considering freelance or gig work and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Because we hold effectively no personal data about visitors, there is usually nothing to access, correct or erase. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to hi@sidegigart.io and we will remove it.

Changes

We will update this page whenever our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it.
