About SideGigArt
Practical tools for people building income on their own terms
SideGigArt is a free toolkit for freelancers, side hustlers, solo operators and independent web publishers. It brings together 15 interactive calculators, practical guides and a separate set of Google AdSense readiness tools. There is no account, subscription or paywall.
The aim is simple: turn difficult working decisions into numbers and next steps you can inspect. That may mean finding a sustainable hourly rate, pricing a project, handling a client who changes the scope, setting aside tax, smoothing irregular income, deciding whether to continue a side hustle, or checking whether a website is technically ready to be reviewed for advertising.
The calculators and decision tools
The calculator library covers pricing and proposals, client negotiation, publishing revenue, income comparisons, cash flow, planning and business viability. The formulas include costs that simple calculators often ignore: unpaid admin time, non-billable weeks, scope buffers, payment delays, tax reserves, time off and dry months.
Every calculation runs in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to SideGigArt or saved in a database. Some tools let you copy a result or create a shareable link; you decide whether to copy or share it. Results are estimates for planning, not financial, tax, legal or employment advice.
The guides
SideGigArt publishes detailed guides on freelance rates, project pricing, scope creep, tax reserves, late invoices, irregular income and side-hustle decisions. A second group is written for website owners and covers AdSense policy, site quality, crawling, monetisation, ad revenue and alternatives to display advertising.
Guides are written to explain the reasoning behind the tools, not to pad the site with search-engine filler. Worked examples label their assumptions, important limitations are stated, and corrections are welcome. Articles are not reprinted, syndicated or machine-translated from other sites.
Google AdSense readiness
Website owners can submit a public URL for a technical check. SideGigArt looks at HTTPS, ads.txt, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, mobile viewport setup, policy-page links, navigation depth, visible content and Google PageSpeed Insights results. The policy checklist, crawl map and rejection-notice library provide additional context.
These tools do not predict whether Google will approve a site. AdSense approval includes human judgement about originality, usefulness, policy compliance and the overall visitor experience. Automated facts are therefore kept separate from editorial guidance, with no invented approval score or overall verdict.

Who runs SideGigArt
SideGigArt is written, built and maintained by Megdam Almasoud, an independent web developer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is a one-person project, not a company or agency, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Google.
The calculators and website checks are built here. Google PageSpeed Insights supplies the speed scores, and Google Search Console supplies the public traffic figures shown on SideGigArt's transparency page. How the site is funded
Every calculator, guide and website tool is free to use. SideGigArt is funded by advertising. Advertising cookies remain off until consent is given where consent is required, and cookie choices can be changed from the footer.
