About SideGigArt

SideGigArt is a small suite of business calculators for people who earn money outside a single paycheck: freelancers, contractors, delivery and rideshare drivers, weekend makers, and anyone building a second income around a day job.

Most side gigs start informally. Someone offers you money for something you already do well, you say yes, and you pick a number that sounds about right. That works until the gig gets real — until there are expenses, quiet months, a tax bill you didn't plan for, and clients who pay sixty days late. At that point the difference between a hobby and a business is not effort. It's arithmetic.

These tools do that arithmetic. They take the figures only you can know — your income target, your expenses, the tax percentage you've decided to set aside, the hours you can realistically bill — and turn them into a rate, a quote, a set-aside amount or a runway number you can act on today.

What we deliberately don't do

SideGigArt does not tell you what tax rate applies to you, what your legal obligations are, or what things cost in your city. Those answers depend on where you live and how you're set up, and a generic website that guesses at them does more harm than good. Every calculator here is pure maths on inputs you supply. If a percentage appears in a result, it's because you typed it in.

How it works

There are no accounts, no logins and no database. Everything is computed in your browser as you type, which is why the pages load instantly and why we never see your numbers. Close the tab and the figures are gone.

The site is free to use. It will carry unobtrusive advertising to cover hosting, marked clearly and kept below the fold so it never gets between you and a result.

SideGigArt is an information tool, not a financial, tax or legal adviser. For decisions with real consequences, take your numbers to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
